Make a Difference
"The contribution that every single volunteer makes is very significant. As a volunteer, you impact the people around you, the community around you."
Who is a Volunteer?
A volunteer is someone who works for community or for the benefit of society primarily because they choose to do so.
“Volunteering” is used for a range of activities such as community service, self-help, charity, hospitality, public service, involvement in community actions, being a trustee, helper, and so on. Volunteers contribute their time and effort towards the causes they believe in. They work towards improving a neighborhood, a community, or a country. Voluntary work is unpaid work. You don't have to do it, but you choose to do it.
The beautiful thing about volunteering is that there is no age limit or no educational constraints, and certainly no work experience. All that is required is dedication to a cause, sincerity about the work that one is doing and a sustained effort.
Prerequisites:
The volunteer should be willing to commit at least two months services.
The volunteer should be able to bear his on expenses while rendering voluntary services to the organization.
The volunteer will have to observe the bylaws and service conditions of the organization.
